Why We Fund Research in Pregnancy and Stillbirth

Research with the woman body only started a few decades ago and still only 11% of the NIH grants are designated to studying women health!

Placentas are still discarded instead of studied.

As said by doctors, a pregnancy is the window of the woman's future health, so it must be studied exhaustively, not only to prevent more losses but for the health of the female population.

An adverse pregnancy outcome does not only impact the pregnancy itself but a woman's health up to 20 years after the outcome occurs.

We, at Natalie Foundation, are dedicated to supporting and funding research in pregnancy and stillbirth.
